Diet and Exercise and a little something else...

When Hank and I first met, he had just made some pretty big life changes. He had dropped close to 80 pounds and was really into exercize and fitness. So what in the heck drew him to me?

After we married and we were having our first baby, he decided to stop taking a supplement he was taking. When he did, he had some adverse reaction to coming off of it. He had what felt like panic attacks and shortness of breath. So when he told me that he wanted to try it again in preparation for an upcoming half marathon, you can imagine my skeptisism... so we decided to take a look at a few Hydroxycut reviews. The formula for creating it is different now, and is supposed to be more natural. Hank bought some and used it for a while but felt like it did little to nothing for him, so he decided to stick to just exercize and a very loose form of a diet. I mean, it's hard to be on a diet around me right now.

Lose it, so use it!

I got on the scale the other night for the first time in a very, very, very long time. I was holding my breath and getting ready to let out a string of cuss words, when I was pleasantly surprised. I weighed in about 12 pounds lighter than when I found out I was pregnant with Sophie. Now, am I content to let myself remain the way I am? No. But, I was happy to find that I had a little less to work off. I really want to tighten as I go to. Any suggestions? A couple of people have tried Orovo detox and said that it worked to get their diet and exercise regime jump started. Anyone out there tried it? I'm thinking that when I take Tres to school, I can head over to the park and run with my sister. She is a great encourager and motivator for me. And accountability is key for me.

WHAT???

Okay, so you know you've thought about it. When you start a new exercize routine and you wish you could see results immediately, you know you've wished for a little magic pill!! Well... I know I have. So I heard about one called Anoretix. Here's what the website has to say:
"What is Anoretix? Anoretix is one of this years hottest new weight loss supplements. Anoretix has received positive reviews from almost every single fat burner reviewer. Why? It contains nine patented and clinically tested weight loss ingredients. Not only that but Anoretix also comes with a money back / satisfaction guarantee."

I'm not really sure I'm ready to try a fat burner. I want to see how my natural fat burners do first, you know?? Plus I'm still nursing Sophie and I don't want her to burn fat for sure!! She's too little as it is! :)

Work Out

Does anyone watch that show on Bravo? It's a little too much for me. When I titled this post, that show came to mind for some reason. Anyway, Hank and I have been alternating mornings for running without the kids. So we each get to go exercize at least three mornings a week. We have talked about going to look at other treadmills since the one we bought last year bit the dust. The tread on it has a rip, and it's more trouble to repair than it's worth, I'm thinking. It is now in our yard sale stuff I'm working on for this weekend. Hopefully someone will think it's worth it. It still runs... it just has a rip in the tread. But if you keep the speed low, it's okay.

On my mornings to run, I've been meeting my sister Tonnie at a local park and we run just about 2 miles. Today we tried stopping at the different pavilions and doing stations. So we stopped and did abs, arms, and legs with our heartrate up. Then we continued running. By the time we were done... I was jello! It was good though!
