Trying to get better!

Okay, so I'm trying to get better about updating! My schedule is about to get a little better, since I have only two and half weeks of volleyball left. So that's good. I can't believe that it is already the end of March!! March 30th is my dad's birthday, then April 2nd is Bryant's birthday, then April 5th is my anniversary! Then Easter.
Hank and I went to a church meeting last night to get involved at our new church. We love it!! Hank is involved in the media and set-up. I signed up for the nursery and Kingdom Kids. I really want to get involved in the music side of it, but it's hard to committ to being there at 8:45 every Sunday when we live 30 minutes away!! So I'm still praying about that. And if I did, then it would require one night a week of practicing. So I have some things to think about!
I've been battling some allergy and sinus issues today... I felt so stinking nauseous all day with a severe headache. But my boys don't really care about that! :) I just took some medicine, so hopefully that will cure it.
So this is really a random blog entry... hmmmm... guess all that's left is to throw in a random picture!

(This is a new trick Tres made up. He taught himself how to walk on the bottom of bowls.)

Growing up

It makes me a little sad to say this, but my little boy is growing up!! Tres is really starting to be curious about everything! "What letter does 'grass' start with Momma?" "How do I draw a '2' Momma?" He even looks less like my baby and more like my little boy. Now, someone explain to me why that has to happen? :) He loves to play dress-up. He loves to do arts and crafts. His play time is so organized now. He lines up all of his Power Rangers, Ninja Turtles, cars, or whatever he is playing with so neatly. When he draws a picture now, you can almost tell what it is. And he will carry on a conversation with you until the cows go home! The boy loves to talk!

The Dread Pirate Tres-man!

Picasso Tres with his piece de resistance (flower)!

Together Again!

Once Tres was back in the house, let me tell you, Bryant did not like to let him out of his sight! He has to do everything his brother does!

Play Mr. Potato Head together!

Watch Dora together!

Play trains together... and even dress alike!

Lunch at Jim n Nicks

Here, Bryant, try this rib.... I know you'll love!

Hmmm... maybe I do like these.

Yes! I love ribs! Gimme some ribs! I need more!

Tres... an old hand at eating ribs... is unimpressed!

One Vs. Two

Silly me, I thought when Tres went to Disney with Hank's parents and his cousins that it would be quieter and easier around the house. Parts of it were quieter. But Bryant's distraction, playmate, and entertainer were gone and therefore he was constantly under my feet!!! God love him, he just didn't know what to do without 'brubber.'
Some parts were fun. Bryant and I went to the mall, which is something I hate doing with both right now unless I have someone to help me. I went grocery shopping with relative ease (one set of hands trying to grab things is much more managable!), I made playdates and actually got to catch up with some old friends.
But overall, I have to say... I prefer my two over just my one. It sure made it seem like a huge hole was missing from the Boemer family!
This pic is the night after we picked Tres up. He and Bryant were so happy to see each other!

And the big news is...

not really anything!! I was going to try and get a breast reduction. But it looks like my insurance doesn't pre-determine if you are covered for the surgery (even though the surgeon I consulted with says it is). So I would have to be prepared to pay for the surgery. We are talking close to $15,000. We can't take that chance. The lady I talked to in the insurance department of the surgeon I consulted with suggested that I call my insurance carrier. We'll see how that goes! But for now... nothing is going to change :(

Where has all the time gone?? Man, life has been nothing but hectic lately, but in a good way. Tres had an opportunity to go to Disney with Hank's family for a week. So his laugh and smile have been missed! We pick him up tomorrow! Yeah!! I missed him so bad! But I got to spend some good one on one time with Bry. Even got his two year pics taken. I can't get them to post... I'll see if I can get Hank to help me figure it out later! They turned out so good.

'el will be on ABC 33/40 this coming Wednesday on the News at Noon. We started a music myspace for 'el. We can put songs and pics and list upcoming events and all kinds of good stuff... so if you want to and get a chance... check us out at http://www.myspace.com/elmusicgroup!

I also have some other news... but I'll wait to post that, until I know some more detials about it... and NO, I'M NOT PREGNANT!
