Retreat!

Another item on my wish list would be some sort of fire pit or bar-b-que area in our backyard. Hank and I talked about getting some pavers and leveling out an area. Then we want to put a firepit or a bar-b-que in the middle and put some nice outdoor patio furniture around it. But if we do it where we want we are gonna have to do some serious planning in order to get some outdoor lighting in place. But I think it would be worth it in the long run to get this accomplished.

To me, our back yard is a retreat for our family. The woods and the distance between houses, coupled with the fact that we live next to the power company's right of way, gives us a sense of privacy and isolation that is nice! So to add some comfort and luxery to the back yard would be just fine for me!
