The Countdown is Officially On... Again!

Every year we make Christmas Countdown Chains! The boys love it... it's simple... and it's a great way to teach the boys about days in a month, as well as avoiding the inevitable question: "Is it Christmas yet, Momma?"

We sat down to make them. The boys picked their construction paper, cut their strips and got their glue sticks ready!Tres was extremely meticulous! He was serious and kept his mind on what he was doing. He was neat and seemed to get satisfaction out of doing the job well!Bryant, on the other hand, cut ragged and too thick strips and got easily distracted. In fact......Daddy finished his chain for him.

And Sophie... well......let's just say that Hank and I are thankful that glue sticks are non-toxic.
