Loopy Baby!

Bryant had tubes put in yesterday morning... and I am so relieved that it is behind us again. We got him to Children's South off Acton Road around 7:15. The surgery was over and were back at home by 9:30. So it was quick as far as medical procedures go. He did pretty well. But the doctor told us that he had not seen such bad infection and build up in a while. Nothing that Hank or I could have done would have prevented it (apart from complete quarantine to prevent colds, etc.), but I still felt I had let my child down somehow by not protecting him from this! When they brought him back to me after surgery, all he wanted to do was lay on me. He slept all the way home, and once we got home, buddy... we had a loopy baby. He couldn't stand up or walk, although he kept trying. He would fall over. And he would laugh so loud with his little tounge stuck out. I have never seen him act like this before. It was so funny! We knew it had to be an effect from the anethesia, so I went and laid him down. He woke up 4 hours later, and was back to normal.
