Observations from a football game:

Here are some random observations from attending this past weekends Alabama game against LSU:

Public enemies number 1, 2, and 3 are LSU, the refs, and the TV time-out guy.

The guy two rows ahead of us fast became annoying because every time Alabama got a first down, he would stand up, point in whatever direction the ball was moving with his arm extending, and wind his other arm.

He also sat with his head between his legs for a good 10 minutes after the game ended.

People actually think that things they are doing, wearing, saying, or eating will effect the outcome of the game.
For example,
"Jamie, you can't buy another t-shirt at the game. We lost."
"I can't buy a program at the game again. We lost."

The fans for the visiting team don't mind trashing the home teams campus after a win.

Fans always seem to know how a play is going to turn out, if it's a negative outcome.
If it's a positive outcome, they are always surprised.

People will find ways to bring alcohol into the stadium, no matter what kind of rules there are.

The funniest part of the entire thing was before the game started, there was a military fly-over and they were so close to the top of the stadium and came up so quickly, that a girl a couple of seats away spilled her coke on herself!

After the final touchdown had been made, stunned Alabama fans still sat hopefully like the result of the game was going to change.

The one about things you do effecting the outcome of the game is too funny. I'm still cracking up at Hank & his parents telling me ALL the things that made Bama lose.

My favorites are the ones that act like they could have done better themselves.

I really think Alabama is going to win next week.
