Disney Princesses On Ice

One of the nice perks of Hank working for a local TV station is we occassionally get free tickets to events and shows. Hank scored some tickets to see the Disney Princesses on Ice and we decided that while it was geared more towards girls, that our boys would love it just the same! Before we went, Tres decided that he wanted to go as Buzz Lightyear (who has seen a dramatic increase in popularity since Halloween in our house) and that Bryant should too. So we put them both in costumes and headed out on Saturday... our first outing since 'the sickness!' So if you hear about all these people with a stomach virus and they all just happen to have attended the Saturday evening show at the BJCC, it's just pure coincidence! :) We let the boys each pick a toy. And Tres, who is in love with Snow White, immediately picked out a Snow White figurine. Bryant didn't care, so we bought him some allegator binoculars, and Santa will be putting under the tree. We sat down with some popcorn, and enjoyed a wonderful show! I loved it! I just love fairy tales, so this was right up by ally. All the pretty girls, ending up with Prince Charming. Tres was entranced. He was a little startled by some fire works and was a little scared of the bad characters, but he had such a good time. He was super fascinated with Cinderella. And now wants to get that movie. I guess Santa should get that... or a grandparent... hint, hint! Bryant did great, especially considering that the show started at his bed time. He made it through the show, and all the way home before crashing! They were so cute! We put them on our shoulders as we headed into the BJCC, and people kept going, "Look, it's Buzz!" And pointing and smiling and waving. It really was such a fun evening!

We took Emmy to see it last Wednesday. I think I liked it more than she did!
