Bye-bye Disney!

Well we're back from a week at Disney! We had a blast. Tres was quiet the first day... just sort of taking it all in... but by day 2, he was talking non-stop and having a blast! He was a little uncertain about the life-size characters at first, but by the weeks end, he was hugging them and getting his picture with them! He loved riding the Tea Cups, Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and Aladdin at the Magic Kingdom! His favorite had to be the Buzz Lightyear. We rode those over and over! He also liked the Playhouse Disney show at MGM Studios and the Bugs Life Playground. We had a character breakfast at the Crystal Palace with Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger. Tres loved that too! There were several days we started around 7 am and didn't get in until 11pm or midnight! Then get up to do it all over again the next day!
Hank did pretty well, considering his torn ACL. We went expecting to have to rent a wheelchair or scooter. But he limped along just fine. He had some soreness and swelling, but his physical therapist said it was good for him to get so much exercize before his surgery... which, by the way, is at 9 am tomorrow morning! He is extremely nervous, but looking forward to getting it all behind him! I had a great time too! I was one of the few in the family that would ride all roller coasters and scary rides... so I did! We were also fortunate enough to have saved enough to do a little Christmas shopping for our boys while we were there. I loved that!
