BREAKING NEWS!!

Last night, our pastor's wife asked 'el to sing at CLC on July 3rd. I know that some of you may have out-of-town plans for the July 4th weekend... but I would ABSOLUTELY love it, if you could come and hear us sing!! We are working on our orginal stuff right now, but none of it is ready. So we will be singing 'Breath On Me' by Natalie Grant and 'Almighty God' by the Parachute Band. Both songs, I personally feel MINISTER TREMENDOUSLY!

If all goes according to plan, we will have a CD with 3-5 original songs on it by September when we are booked to sing at the Alabama Woman's Retreat for the Assembly of God! Thank you God! I sent an e-mail to one of the girls in our group yesterday... and here is an excerpt from it...

"We know we are working on God's timetable. And the proof is this... Here we are, a fledgling group. God has laid at our feet musicians to create professional tracks for our original music FREE. He has placed in our path an old friend to get us into a studio to mix and master and record for FREE. He has opened a door with my husband's best friend to create the CD jacket and packaging for FREE. It's His timing, not our own!"

I want to extend a personal (via blog) invitation for everyone who is in town to come and hear and let me know what you think. Crystal, Vickie, Nicole, Cori, Valerie, Jeni, Eric, Jennifer, Michael, Heather, Deb, and whoever else may stumble upon this!

Please understand, I am not sitting here typing this saying "We are the best you will ever hear! You will be amazed! You will be mezmorized! No other will be able to compare!" No, I think we present an excellent sound because of the hours of practice and attention to detail... but the CRITICAL factor is this entire endeavor is bathed in prayer daily...even hourly. We know Who the credit belongs to. We have open hearts and we are excited to do what the Lord has mapped out for us!

We are also working on our website. Soon it will be operational. It will have a bio for each of us with a pic... our group's Mission Statement and heart for ministry... a calendar of events, and a way for people to hear us a little. We certainly are not dreaming little here, folks! I covet all of your prayers and support! We are still planning our Yard Sale Extravaganza, but we are trying to make sure we can all be there and that is a challenge... especially in the summer months! I'll keep you posted.
